Example 1- Se7en

I chose these opening credits because this is the kind of thing I would like to try and create. I like it because it is really fast and the action draws you in which makes a really good opening because then the viewers want to keep watching.

I really like the lighting affect in this shot. I think that i like it because of the simplicity of just the book. To me this gives me many different thoughts of what could happen in the film, which I think makes it much more exciting to begin with.

I chose this shot because I think that the camera angle is very affective. I think this because the fact that it is half black and half shown could make the audience think about the kind of thing that is going to happen, possible sneaking around, looking through holes? Also the fact that there is the picture shown could give you an idea of what is about to come.

I chose this shot because I think that the camera setting is interesting. It works in the way that the background is out of focus, maybe trying to hide something from the aduience, which could make them think. I also chose it because the camera angle varies from the previous shot and come right up close, bringing the audience into the action.

I chose this sequence of shots because I really like the way that the 'Se7en' starts of smaller and then really blows up and then goes back into the actual shot. The way that all of the writing is done is very clever and works well with the music because both give off a really creepy vibe.

I think this shot is really affective because of both music and camera angles. I like it because the music in the background makes it feel like the whole moment is building into a crecendo, as if something is going to happen and that is when the hand comes in, the camera just about lets you see the hand so you can see what it is doing but not enough to give anything away. Really simple but I think really affective.

I think this shot is very clever because you can see two different things. The first thing that you see is a girl hiding and then in the background you see a boys head. The camera makes it look like the pages are transparent, but you can clearly see the girls face and the boys head.

I think that this is really interesting because the camera is upside down, yet you can see clearly what the paper says. Also as the actor pulls out the 'GOD' the music ties in and says god also.
