I really like these opening titles because there is such a contrast between some of the shots it really bring me into the film. The jump is from a green field to a hospital and then to a funeral bed and back to the green field for the titles.
I like this shot because of the location. I like the simplicity of just the one tree and the wide-open spaces. I think that the camera is up close to the hands because it may help set the scene for the rest of the film.I think that these shots because of the lighting. In this is the first shot that I have found that had a shadow and I feel that the shiny floor really adds to the affect because it reflects the light of the floor. I also like it because it starts of close up on the wheel and then jumps to the whole of the bed with the shadow in the background. The man in the background really gives a creepy atmosphere as you cant really see the mans face you can only see the shadow.
I like this shot because it isn’t directly on the person, it is through a medical flask. I think that it gives a really cool affect as it isn’t quite clear but also you can see what is happening.
I like this shot because it is really close up on what is happening so that you can clearly see the fluid going down. I think that this is a really clever shot because of the fact that it has the number ‘6’ in it which I feel could cleverly tie in with the title. I think that having a shot like this in my film would be really good to have.
I think the reason I like this shot is because of the camera angle and the emotionless face of the character. I like the camera angle because it doesn’t show the whole of the body but shows a little of the face, which is really clever, and it also doesn’t give that much away from the film.
I like this shot because of the angle of the camera. It is almost like we are in the van with the coffin, which really draws us into the action and makes us feel part of everything. This is very affective for me and I think I am going to try to re-create something like this in my opening.
I chose this shot because it really grabbed my attention. I think that with the sun coming through the car door and the angle of the camera is really affective. The sun because it contrasts with what is actually going on as funerals are meant to be sad and dull places to be but the sun makes it look quite a pleasant day, and the angle of the camera really makes us feel like we are down below and looing up to this big powerful van in the road which gives us a thought of death being quite important in this film.
