Titles

I think that this title would go very well with the type of my film as when I see this, the colours remind me of war and this would give the audience a sense of what the film is going to be like. I really like how the cracks come up in the wall and it really looks the text is coming out of the wall. 

After trying to do this title I have decided to change my design as I didn't have the right tools to complete it. I have changed my design to:

I think that this title is really interesting and think that it would look good at the beginning of my film. However, when I do this I am going to change the colour of the background to a green colour as I think that it will go better with the genre of my film. 

I also really like this one because it all reminds me of war, as green smoke is generally associated with war. I think that this one is very cool because it looks like the text is coming from the smoke and with a little fuzziness on the text it makes conveys this point even more.

I decided to do another title as I thought that it would look very nice at the beginning of the film.

I like this one because I think that it will be quite hard to re-create and I think that the end product will look very good.

Finished Products

This is a production company LOGO that I have produced. I like this a lot however I feel that it is too fast so I am going to go into imovie and change the pace so that it will last longer.

In this screen shot I am changing the mask, which enables me to have the two different colours in the background. When I bring up the feather it makes the colours fade together better.

In this shot I am making the lens flare easy ease. The lens flare is the light that comes in the background and makes the title look like it is being made by it. I had to hold down shift to make sure that the path of the lens was straight and finished where I wanted it to go. 

Second Product 

This is my finished product. I am very happy with this as I think that it looks very good. 

In this shot I am going to generate a black solid so that I can have two different colours in the background. I think that this adds to the overall LOGO as it makes the back ground subtile but also makes it more interesting.

In this shot I am making key frames so that I am able to have two explosions of the yellow dots. I am trying to make the yellow dots at the same time as the title explodes, which would make it more interesting.

In this shot I have just added the CC particle world which is the yellow dots in the back ground. 

Product 3

I really like this LOGO as I feel that the smoke represents war very well. I decided to change the title a little as I decided that it looked very cool how it looks now and I wanted to keep it like this. 

 In this shot I am changing the speed of the final title as I feel that it would look better a little slower. 

 In this shot I am adding key frames to set the opacity, so that I can make the smoke come in when I want it to. 

In this shot I am again changing the key frames, however this time for the smoke particles instead of the background.

The reason that I have decided to do three company LOGOs is because my inspiration for my film is 'Saving Private Ryan' and in the film they have 4 different company LOGOs, Mutual Film, Paramount Pictures, DreamWorks, Amblin Entertainment.

Animatic Interview

I did this interview so that I can see what an audience would think of my opening title. In doing this I have learnt that I need to change a few shots as this person feels that it is a little repetitive. I think that I need to change the shots repetitive shots to:
1. When I have a close up on the medal I will have a flash back to the medal being put onto the guy, which I think will give a clear idea that he got them
2. I will have a few shots of them being put into the rucksack as this will show that he is leaving again and I think that this will give a clearer understanding of why the soldiers are leaving.
3. I think that it would look very good if I have a few shots of the medals moving on the guy as if he is running OR a shot of them in the rucksack to show that he has left.

I think that this interview has really helped me improve the overall effect of my film, so I am now going to do another interview to make sure that my target audience age feel the same way.

In class we watched each others animatics and we got feel back from them. I and going to take all of these comments into consideration so that I can get the best result in my final film.

Love the narrative and the different sound effects. only this is that the narrative sometimes overlaps the music which makes it hard to hear.

Voice over is really effective! also the music over adds atmosphere! Dialog is too fast at parts and the music over the talking is too loud. Pictures clear and you can tell whats going on.

Good voice over. Gave a good insight into what would be happening in the movie. Music was very good that suited the army theme, made the atmosphere very sad, mixing the music and the voice over was a bit strange because her voice got quite muffled and she is talking to fast.

nice voice over in the background telling the story well and a good animation showing that she is going back in time and telling the story. the sound in the background is quite load when the army images appear which makes it hard to hear exactly what she is saying. Very touching story

good voice over and music used. The drawings are good. The titles are nice. The music might need to be slightly quieter or the voice more clear as the voice gets slightly drowned out.

Very nice voice over, adds to the theme and effect it has on the viewers as it is very personal, some of the sound effects over ride the voice over so maybe tone down them , speaking quite fast so slow down and the message will come across better. But I like the voice over very much.

dialogue mixed sometimes to much with the music, but other than that it was suppppppperb !
